The retail sector in India,which was dominated by small and unorganized entrepreneurs consisting of stand alone stores, boutiques and kirana stores, is radically changing its face.There has been a massive development of new retail formats such as malls, hypermarkets, supermarkets and lifestyle stores. Gurgaon is the city where it all started causing a big shift in the culture of Gurgaon as well as the rest of India.

Foreseeing a tremendous potential in consumerism, more of Gurgaon shopping malls developers are on war footing to cater to the minutest of the needs of shoppers. Whether it is a prerequisite of high-end brands or the pressing need of theme specific products, Gurgaon malls are becoming a perfect shopping destination for people with all budgets. If this development remains steadily on track for the next few years, the entire retail activity will positively go through a significant change.

By Economic Times – Experts criticise India’s endorsement for use of hydroxychloroquine on Covid-19 patients New Delhi: Some experts have criticised the endorsement by India’s top health research body for use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) on Covid-19 patients and healthcare workers without proper evidence that proves the drug’s ability to reduce the viral load. In the absence of credible evidence, a blanket recommendation for chemoprophylaxis might be contentious, the experts said in an article published online by the Lancet on April 17. Ayesha Shroff on settlement with Sahil Khan

This afternoon, the Bombay High Court has quashed the two FIRs filed by Jackie Shroff’s wife Ayesha Shroff in Mumbai against actor Sahil Khan, over allegations of cheating and criminal intimidation- a business dispute in 2015. A bench of Justices SS Shinde and NJ Jamadar quashed the two FIRs which were registered by the Bandra police, after Sahil’s lawyer and Ayesha told the court that they had settled the dispute between them amicably. Talking exclusively to ETimes a few minutes ago, Ayesha said, “It was an out-of-court settlement. But let me tell you I withdrew the cases 5 years ago. It has come to light only now simply because the quashing happened today.
