We’re heading to Gurgaon for a four-day weekend under the sun (and one full moon). Stop by our little island at CyberHub Gurgaon for a taste of our take on festive with a tropical twist, with a side of pesto four ways (catered by the always-excellent Caara).


We’ve collaborated with Mumbai-based interior designer Ravi Vazirani, whose design we’ve long admired, and whose aesthetic closely mirrors our own, to set up a travelling home — The Nicobar Edit — soon to anchor down in various spots across India. Built within a fabricated exterior spanning 10 yards in length and 4 in breadth, The Nicobar Edit will be a place that invites you to linger, housing pieces that spread the gospel of our tropically-inflected lifestyle.


From decor objects and chanderi home linen to pressed glassware and home dining sets embossed with gold chand sitara motifs, the Nicobar festive home capsule adds a quiet sparkle along with gentle shimmer to modern homes, keeping true to the brand’s contemporary, tropical aesthetic. True to the brand’s aesthetic of easy, fuss free design; Nicobar’s clothing festive capsules, are a subtle take on the usual Indian celebratory dressing – with a design and styles that are quietly evocative of the richness in the air. Designed for modern Indian woman, who might not always wish to be decked in decidedly bold festive finery, these styles lend a more subliminal sheen to their festive wardrobes.
