Juhi moves to division bench of Delhi HC

Juhi Chawla recently filed a petition before the division bench of Delhi High Court as she challenged the small bench’s order in the 5G network case.
In June, the single-judge bench had dismissed Chawla’s plea against the ‘untested’ implementation of 5G telecom technology. Recently, ANI tweeted, ”Actor-environmentalist Juhi Chawla moves division bench of Delhi High Court challenging single bench order which had dismissed the lawsuit filed against the setting up of 5G wireless networks in the country. Hearing to be held tomorrow, December 23”.

Back in August, Juhi had broken her silence over the court dismissing her lawsuit. Sharing a video, Juhi wrote, “It was about time. I’ll let you decide if it was a publicity stunt.” In the video, the actress spoke about how she approached different organisations and parliamentary committees about the issue. She further added that she saw a news report about the harmful effects of cellular radiation on human health and decided to call up agencies who could help her find out if she and her family were affected by radiation from cell towers too.

The actress had urged the government to release research in the public domain that 5G is safe for everyone to alleviate fear.
