Genelia reacts to trolls calling her ‘cheap’

One of Bollywood’s most loved couples Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh are often seen sharing their adorable pictures and fun banters on their social media handles. While their videos and pictures are loved by many, sometimes they also invite trolling and criticism. Recently the couple opened up regarding the same.
The couple recently made an appearance at Arbaaz Khan’s talk show, where they were hurled with a bunch of mean tweets in one of the segments. Arbaaz shares these tweets from users commenting on their social media. One of them was a viral video that saw Riteish in a conversation with Preity Zinta while Genelia was caught with a cold expression.

On talking about the same, Genelia shared why reacted the way and told Arbaaz that “The actual story is that after a long time, I was attending an award function. I was all dressed up and wore high heels, thinking that I would be okay but we were meeting so many people, we were having conversations, and my feet were killing me. So Preity and Ritesh were having a conversation and unfortunately, the cameraman captured my reaction.” Earlier, this year Genelia also posted a funny version of what happened next on fan’s demand.
Arbaaz also read out a comment on that viral video. A user wrote “It is his fault. He should focus on his wife more,” the comment read. In response to the comment, Riteish laughed it off and said, “Well, even I want you focus on your wife and not mine.”

Another mean comment called Genelia a ‘vulgar aunty’ The comment read, “Besharam, cheap, vulgar aunty always overacting. Doesn’t suit your age and face especially when you’re married and got two kids dadi amma. Even kids will be shocked and embarrassed with all your overacting. They’ll be like, ‘Even if we don’t act anything like this’.” Genelia sportingly reacted and replied to the comment saying “I don’t think he’s having a good day at home. I hope you’re well, bhaisaab. I hope you’re really okay at home.”
