Kartik-Kriti’s ‘Shehzada’ to begin shoot this month

Kartik Aaryan is on the proverbial roll. The actor has just completed two films – ‘Freddy’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, and is set to head straight into a third film, where he will play ‘Shehzada’.
The actor’s next film will roll in October and it stars Kriti Sanon and is directed by Rohit Dhawan. Kartik and Kriti had previously worked together in ‘Luka Chuppi’ and their pairing was appreciated by the audience, too.

The film is said to be a remake of the Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu movie, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, which had also featured Pooja Hegde. The film is being produced by the makers of Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’, Allu Arvind, Aman Gill and S Radha Krishna. It has also been speculated that Manisha Koirala could be a part of the film, playing a role that was done by Tabu in the Telugu original.
Kartik has been putting in a lot of time and effort recently, learning and honing his dance skills. In fact, the star had even shared his unique new version of the Butta Bomma song, which featured Allu Arjun from the same film, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. ‘Shehzada’ is likely to go on floor in mid October and will be shot in Mumbai.
