183 government vaccination sites to be set up today

Gurgaon: The health department has decided to set up 183 government vaccination sessions sites in the city on Saturday. While Covisheild doses will be given at 177 sites, Covaxin will be administered at five sites and Sputnik V at one site.
A total of 13,092 people in the 18-44 age group got inoculated on Friday. In the 45-plus category, 6,027 people took the shots. As many as six healthcare staff and 12 frontline workers also received the jabs. In all, 19,137 jabs were administered. On Friday, 5,298 first doses and 13,839 second doses were administered. At present, the city is aggressively administering second doses to the recipients. The plan is to have 80% of doses reserved for the second dose recipients daily with a view to vaccinate them.
Four new cases in city
The city witnessed four fresh cases of Covid-19 on Friday taking the caseload to 1,81,351, of which 45 are active cases. The positivity rate stands as 0.1%. The total number of recoveries went up to 1,80,383 with 13 people recovering on Friday.
