Mira flaunts her mehendi before Karwa Chauth

Mira Rajput joined Karwa Chauth celebrations at Sunita Kapoor’s residence this year. Ahead of the big day, Mira was seen getting Heena applied by popular mehendi artist Veena Nagda. Dressed in a blue ensemble, Mira was all smiles for the camera as she prepped for the festivity at Anil Kapoor’s home. Later, Sunita Kapoor had shared a picture from the grand Karwa Chauth celebration at her home.

Ahead of the celebration, Mira had shared her Karwa Chauth look on Instagram. Decked in a stylish red sharara, she looked absolutely gorgeous. Mira also penned note about how she is celebration the festival by giving her digestive system some rest. Her caption read, “Mind control with a side of mushiness I did it my way.. Tradition reinvented. Using the occasion to allow the digestive system some rest, redirecting the mind to be more productive and not focusing on food, and enjoying some fun moments of culture If you control the mind you can do just about anything. @shahidkapoor now I can say food is not #1 on my priority list.”

Apart from Mira Rajput, the festive occasion was graced by Padmini Kolhapure, her daughter-in-law Shaza Morani, Krishika Lulla, Rima Jain and daughter-in-law Anissa Malhotra. Shilpa Shetty, who is regular face at the Kapoor’s Karwa Chauth event, celebrated the festival in Alibaug with her friend, while Bhavana Pandey also skipped the festivity.
