90 govt session sites in city today

Gurgaon: As many as 90 government vaccination session sites will be set up in the city on Wednesday. Out of these, Covishield will be given at 84 sites, Covaxin at five sites while Sputnik V at one site.
A total of 12,428 people in the age group of 18-44 years got inoculated on Tuesday. In the 45-plus category, 2,142 people took the vaccine shots. As many as three healthcare staff and seven frontline workers also administered the jabs. In all, 14,580 jabs were given to the recipients.
On Tuesday, 5,768 first doses and 8,812 second doses were administered. At present, the district is aggressively administering second doses to the recipients. The plan is to have 80% of doses reserved for the second dose recipients daily in the district with a view to inoculate them at the earliest.
7 new cases reported in city
The city witnessed seven fresh cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday taking the caseload to 1,81,333, of which 57 are active cases. The positivity rate stands as 0.1%. Four people also recovered on Tuesday, increasing the total number of recoveries to 1,80,353. The recovery rate now stands at 99.6%. Meanwhile, a total of 55 patients are in home isolation.
