Alia on how her relationship with RK started

Well, everyone out there knows that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt fell in love with each other while they were shooting for ‘Brahmastra’. Now, in her recent appearance on Karan Johar’s popular talk show, the actress elaborated on how it all started.
During the candid conversation, Alia revealed that everything started due to a faulty plane seat. The actress shared that on New Year’s Eve, the duo took a flight to Tel Aviv to attend a workshop and Ranbir sat next to her. However, there was some issue with the seat, so he was moved to another seat. After it was fixed, he came back to sit next to Alia. While Ranbir was away, Alia was thinking about why her dream is getting shattered and was getting irritated as he had to sit away from Alia.
When he returned to his seat, Ranbir told Alia, ‘I was getting so upset and irritated,
iss seat ko abhi rukna tha when we were sitting together so nicely.’
Alia then said that this was where they started vibing with each other.
Further talking about how Ranbir proposed to her, Alia shared that she was not expecting it. The ‘Raazi’ actress stated that they were talking about it for a long time but due to the pandemic, they decided not to talk about it. And, that’s what he did! The actress shared that Ranbir carried the ring everywhere and proposed to her in the most amazing place, ‘Maasai Mara’.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the duo will next feature in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. The film has been scheduled to hit the theatres in September.
