Bhindi ka Salan Recipe

Bhindi ka Salan Recipe by Jiya Jesh · Updated on July 9, 2020 Curries/ Gravies Bhindi ka salan recipe – a flavorful curry using okras in a peanut and sesame seeds based gravy. This tangy okra curry can be served with chapathis / rotis or steamed rice. This bhindi salan is from Hyderabadi cuisine. Bhindi is basically okra or lady’s finger while salan means gravy. Usually I make a simple bhindi aloo sabzi for lunch or dinner as okras cook fast and taste great even with a minimum of spices. Occasionally, I make this gravy that is absolutely flavorful that you will go for second helpings. The flavor comes from peanuts, sesame seeds and coconut, which give a nutty taste to the gravy as well as thickens it. The tangy flavor comes from tamarind that needs to be soaked and then the tamarind extract needs to be added. Onions, ginger and garlic too are included, which add to the flavor of the curry. This recipe is easy to make. We need to first dry roast some of the ingredie

View: Covid-19 pandemic has immensely boosted the case for Universal Healthcare

Image
By Economic Times – View: Covid-19 pandemic has immensely boosted the case for Universal Healthcare By Dipankar Gupta Universal Healthcare never quite got the attention it needed from India’s policy planners. There were always other subsidies cooking and those had to be served first. This pushed healthcare investment out of the back burner and onto the kitchen floor. As a result, India’s governmental health spend is just 1% of its GDP, among the lowest in the world. The main reason why it is always difficult to run a campaign for Universal Healthcare is because we fall sick singly and alone. When we are ill all we can think about is getting well. But when we are well, we don’t give illness a thought. An epidemic changes all that for illness now no longer strikes randomly and uniquely. Covid-19, as we have seen, has linked whole masses together, the sick and the worried non-sick, like partisans in a movement. In this collective fight for life, corporate health tailored to suit indiv

By Times of India – Allow operations from next week with 20 workers, says Gurgaon industry body Gurgaon: Citing delay in the issuance of movement passes to their workers, the industrialists of Gurgaon have urged the state government that permission be granted to every unit in the district to begin operations with at least 20 workers from next week.
