By Times of India – Akshay-Twinkle’s obscene act at public event Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are one of the most loved power couples we have in Bollywood. While they have individually often fallen into controversies, they have rarely been a trouble as a couple, except this one time.
Back in 2009, Akshay and Twinkle were called out for their “obscene” behavior at a public event. According to reports, Akshay was walking a ramp with others and Twinkle was sitting and enjoying the show amongst the other guests in the audience.
While walking on the ramp, Akshay suddenly stopped in front of his wife who was sitting in the front row. While Twinkle and others were left surprised by his gesture, they were shocked when the actor asked her to unbutton his jeans. Twinkle was initially a little hesitant but she later gave in and amid cheering from the audience, she did as asked.
Though it was done just for fun and apparently had no other meaning to it, the act was found inappropriate and obscene by many people. A social activist had then filed a complaint against the couple. The actors, who were reportedly arrested by the police, were later released on bail. They later apologized for their behavior.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay was last seen in ‘Good Newwz’ co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.
Next the actor has his hands full with some very interesting projects which include, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Bell Bottom’ and ‘Atrangi Re’.
