By Times of India – Saif on Irrfan’s demise: The best of our times The entire nation was in a state of shock the after news of Irrfan Khan’s demise came out. The actor took his last breath at Mumbai’s Kokilaben hospital after he suffered complications due to colon infection. Many Bollywood celebs took to their respective social media accounts to mourn the demise of the actor.

Now, talking about Irrfan, actor Saif Ali Khan shared, “I have always thought of Irrfan Khan as perhaps the best, most watchable and most natural actor of our times. He was way too young to go. Very very sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children, and family. May God bless his soul.”

The funeral of the actor was attended by Irrfan’s family and celebs like Tigmanshu Dhulia, Kapil Sharma and more attended the funeral. The actor’s family issued a statement, “Irrfan was buried at the Versova kabrastan in Mumbai at 3 pm this afternoon soon after the news of his passing away was announced. In presence were his family, close relatives and friends. Everyone paid their final respects and mourned the loss of his passing away. We pray for his peace and we hope he’s in a better place today. He was strong in his fight, and we all have to be strong too in this loss.”

On the work front, the actor was last seen in ‘Angrezi Medium’ with Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Tripathi and others.
