By Times of India – Vijay Sethupathi calls out a fake tweet Jyotika’s opinion on donating funds to hospitals and temples courted controversy after she was disappointed about the lack of facilities in a hospital near Thanjavur when she was there for shooting. Later, Saravanan, director of the film, came up with a post explaining why the actress had to comment on the need to have more facilities in hospitals.

A screenshot of Vijay Sethupathi’s tweet which has been doing the rounds on social media which was related to the actress’s comment was called out by the Master actor himself on Friday night. He took to Twitter and said that the screenshot being circulated on his name is fake.

According to the fake tweet, Sethupathi appreciated Jyotika’s comment and said that he will stand by her as an actor. The tweet also said that only a human can help another human during a crises and that god is powerless. This is not the first time the actor is calling out fake information. A few months ago, he exposed tweets which claimed that the actor has converted to another religion. He had then asked miscreants who indulge in such activities to engage in meaningful jobs than coming up with such things.
