By Times of India – THIS scene from DDLJ kickstarts a meme fest Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ holds a special place in the hearts of the people. The iconic scene when a strict father played by Amrish Puri allows his daughter Simran to catch a moving train to be with her lover Raj is still considered as one of the best climaxes of the Bollywood film.

Now, another scene of Amrish Puri from the film is doing the rounds on the internet. In the sequence, Chaudhary Baldev Singh receives a letter from his friend Ajit played by Satish Shah. Baldev, who is based in London, is seen smelling the letter which reminds him of his homeland, India.
People on the internet have collaged the two images from the scene with funny situations and making memes. A user shared the stills wrote, “moms when she received letters from her mayka in 90s”.
