Heeng1/4 Teaspoon
Salt1 Teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder1.5 Teaspoon

Process to make Mango & Asafoetida Pickle or Aam aur Heeng ka Achaar (Recipe in Hindi)


  1. Clean and dry the mango.

  2. Peel off the green skin and reserve for some delicious Mint Chutney.

  3. Cut the mango skin into small pieces and place in the bottle.

  4. Mix salt, red chilli powder and asafoetida (heeng).

  5. Pour from top and seal the lid.

  6. Mix really well and keep it in the sun for two days and your pickle is ready to be served.
