Abhishek posts, “Mard ko dard nahin hota!”

Abhishek Bachchan took to Instagram to share a picture of himself as he returned to Chennai to resume his work on his next film. In the picture, Jr AB can be seen posing for the camera with his plastered arm and don’t miss the thumbs up! He wrote a long caption along with the post that read, “Had a freak accident in Chennai on the set of my new film last Wednesday. Fractured my right hand. Needed surgery to fix it! So a quick trip back home to Mumbai. Surgery done, all patched-up and casted. And now back in Chennai to resume work. As they say… The show must go on! And as my father said…. Mard ko dard nahin hota!
Ok, ok, ok it hurt a little. 😉

Thank you all for your wishes and get-well-soon messages. 🙏🏽”

Soon, celebs like Karan Johar, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, AB’s sister Shweta Bachchan and her daughter Navya Nanda and others poured in wishes for the actor.

On the work front, Abhishek will next feature in ‘Bob Biswas’, a spin-off of the character from Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Kahaani’ starring Vidya Balan. The movie also stars Chitrangda Singh in a key role.

He will also play the role of an uneducated politician in the film ‘Dasvi’. The movie also stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur along with Bachchan.
