Haryana: Gurugram emerges as only district to report new Covid-19 cases

CHANDIGARH: Gurugram emerged as the only district to have reported the new Covid-19 cases as Haryana on Saturday counted for 11 cases, one death and 13 recoveries from Covid during the day.
Gurugram reported all 11 cases while Fatehabad reported the only death of the state. Meanwhile, Nine districts namely Hisar, Sonipat, Ambala, Bhiwani, Mahendergarh, Rewari, Palwal, Charkhi Dadri and Nuh districts retained the Covid free tag.
While, cumulative Covid count of the state was reported to be 771528 cases, 761343 recoveries, 10053 deaths and 109 active cases. Of the total active cases, only 15 are hospitalized and are on oxygen support.
On vaccination front of the total 108177 shots, first dose was given to 34389 persons while second dose was given to 73788 persons. Cumulative Coverage of Covid-19 Vaccination for the first dose reached 18231167 which reached 89% and cumulative coverage of second dose reached 9269240 which found to be 45%.
