Dhanush-Aishwaryaa’s Separation Details

Dhanush, who was recently seen in ‘Atrangi Re’
announced separation from his wife Aishwaryaa after nearly 18 years of marriage. Today, Aishwaryaa is leading an independent life and deep-dived to make a music video that has Ankit Tiwari for its male voice.
Dhanush had written on his social media handle: “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other. The journey has been growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting… Today, we stand at a place where our paths separate… Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this. Om Namashivaaya!” Aishwaryaa too put out almost the same.

While Bollywood expressed shock in whispers, ETimes has learned that the South industry was not even surprised. We have been told that Dhanush and Rajinikanth’s daughter were having a lot of incompatibility problems since the past 6 years. A source from the South industry says. “Five, or maybe even six years, Aishwaryaa and Dhanush were staying together whenever Dhanush was not shooting, but they were barely a couple. The separation was not entirely shocking but in fact sort of expected and inevitable. It was only a matter of time, it can be said that they took pretty long to announce it but possibly they were trying to repair the relationship.”
Dhanush met Aishwaryaa in 2000. Reportedly, Aishwaryaa had sent him flowers after seeing his film ‘Kadhal Konden’. Dhanush was 21 then, Aishwarya was 23. The rest, as they say, is history.
