Haryana: Ambala reports 122 new Covid-19 cases, 286 discharged

AMBALA: The Ambala district of Haryana reported 122 positive cases of Covid-19 and 286 patients were discharged on Wednesday, said civil surgeon Dr Kuldeep Singh.
Among the 122 positive cases, Ambala city recorded 33, Ambala cantonment 25, Chourmastpur 23, Barara 14, Shahzadpur and Mullana 12 each, and Naraingarh three.
There are 1,397 active patients of Covid-19 in Ambala.
Dr Singh said the health department vaccinated 3,918 people against Covid-19 on the day.
Dr Singh said the recovery rate of Ambala district is 94.19 per cent and the mortality rate is 1.32 per cent.
The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Ambala up to Wednesday reached 40,030 of which, 38,103 were discharged and 530 people have died.
