Kishore Kumar’s son has NO OBJECTION to Madhubala’s biopic

Madhubala’s sister Madhur Bhushan is rooting for a biopic on Madhubala. Should a biopic on Madhubala be made? Well, Madhubala’s husband Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar (whose mother was the late Ruma Guha Thakurta) at least has no objection.
We had caught up with Amit Kumar at his Juhu bungalow a few days ago. We asked him his opinion on the Madhubala biopic. Madhubala was Kishore Kumar’s second wife. Amit Kumar replied, “Why not? Biopic toh sab ka banta hai aajkal (Biopics are quite common these days).

Coming back to the Amit Kumar interview. The celebrated singer who has himself sung several superhit numbers, starting his career in 1981 from the Kumar Gaurav – Vijeta Pandit starrer ‘Love Story’, shared a lot of memories and anecdotes about his father and Lata Mangeshkar, Madhubala, Bappi Lahiri and Leena Chandavarkar.
