Varun on father David Dhawan’s hospitalisation

Here is Varun Dhawan talking FIRST and EXCLUSIVE on his father David Dhawan’s health. ETimes has it that David Dhawan was in the hospital for seven days and was admitted last week. A while ago, we had brought you news that he is back home and feeling better.
Varun’s upcoming film ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ is around the corner and the actor is having a tough time balancing his work and father’s health. But the fighter that he is, he is going all out making sure neither of the two is ignored. More information on David Dhawan’s hospitalisation given by a source is, “Lali Dhawan (Varun’s mother) was looking after David Dhawan during the daytime at the hospital, while Rohit and Varun were there at night.”

ETimes also has it that Varun was actually shooting abroad for a film when David Dhawan was rushed to the hospital. Varun took the first possible flight to be by his father’s side.
Yesterday, Varun stuck to his duty and promoted his upcoming film ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ despite being anxious about his father’s health. See the video below for that interview, along with Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani.

We reached out to Varun, a few minutes ago to talk about his Dad. He said, “People love my Dad and we’ve got him back home now. It’s tough to work when your father is not well, but my father will always want me to complete my commitments. He’s recovering well at home now.”
