Vikram didn’t suffer a heart attack: Son

South superstar Vikram has been hospitalised after he complained about chest discomfort. The actor was supposed to attend the teaser launch of his upcoming film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, however, he was rushed to the Kauvery hospital in Chennai.
Several reports suggested that the ‘Aparichit’ actor was admitted to the hospital after he suffered a heart attack. Now, Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram shared a post on Instagram to update everyone about his father’s health and also rubbished ‘false reports’.
He wrote, “Dear fans and well-wishers, Appa had mild chest discomfort and is being treated for the same. He did not have a heart attack as reports falsely claim. We are pained to hear rumours to this effect.”

Dhruv added, “That being said, we request you to give our family the privacy we need at this time. Our Chiyaan is fine now. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital in a day. We hope this statement provides clarity and trust that the false rumours will be put to rest.”
