Haryana reports 611 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Tuesday reported 611 new Covid-19 cases and 657 recoveries during the day. No fatality was reported while 16,866 people were administered the doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
The state reported the positivity rate of 5.66 per cent.
With this, the cumulative Covid count of the state has gone to 10,10,894 cases, 9,97,216 recoveries, 10,621 deaths and 3,034 active cases. Of the total active cases, 58 are hospitalised while the rest are in home isolation.
Gurugram reported the highest 389 cases followed by 99 from Faridabad, 43 from Panchkula and 16 cases from Karnal district. Rohtak reported nine cases followed by eight cases from Rewari. Five cases each were reported from Bhiwani, Panipat, Kaithal and Hisar districts.
Four cases each were reported from Sirsa and Yamunanagar districts. Three cases each were reported from Sonipat and Ambala districts. Two cases each were reported from Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Jhajjar, Jind, and Kurukshetra districts. While one case each was reported from Nuh, Palwal and Mahendergarh districts.
On the vaccination front, the first dose was given to 1037 people while the second dose was given to 5,862 persons and 9967 were given the booster dose. The cumulative Covid vaccination coverage of the state has gone to 4,38,43,593.
