Two men abduct 20-year-old in Sohna, thrash & rob him; booked

Gurgaon: A 20-year-old youth was allegedly kidnapped and thrashed by two men in Sohna on Monday. An FIR has been filed against the duo. The complainant, identified as Sahil from Nuh, works as a nursing staff at a private hospital in Sohna. He was leaving the hospital around 5pm on Monday when two men — Naresh and Rahul — accosted him and allegedly started beating him up.
Sahil told police that the duo dragged him to a car and took him to an isolated area near Palam Vihar, where he was again thrashed. “They said I was being punished for working with Preeti, a colleague of mine. They told me that they would kill me if I was seen working with her again,” he told police. The duo also allegedly snatched his phone and Rs 2,000 in cash. An FIR has been lodged under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 365 (kidnapping), 379B (snatching), 452 (trespassing), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC at Sohna police station. tnn
