Gurugram: FIR against Ahir Morcha protesters for damaging car

GURUGRAM: A woman on Sunday filed a complaint against a few people, who were part of the protest held to demand formation of Ahir regiment in the Army, for allegedly damaging her car even after she requested them to clear her path.
The 34-year-old woman said in her complaint that she left DLF-3 in her i20 car on Sunday. She took a service lane near Rajiv Chowk at around 3pm and had to stop because the protesters were marching on the road. They allegedly did not agree to budge despite requests and then broke the window of her car with sticks. Police said she was not injured.
An FIR has been registered at the Shivajii Nagar police station against unknown persons under sections 147, 148, 149, 341 and 427 of the IPC. No arrests have been made yet.
