Salesman at fuel station robbed at gunpoint in Gurugram

GURUGRAM: A salesman at a fuel station was allegedly robbed of Rs 25,000 at gunpoint early on Monday in Bilaspur.
According to the salesman, Bhupinder Raghav (26), two men with covered faces came at 5.50am on the pretext of filling gas. At that time, Raghav was sitting inside the office and noting down the number of customers that came during his shift time.
Just then, the two men barged into the office and one of them pulled out a gun and pointed at his forehead. The other, who had a knife in his hand, asked Raghav to give him the keys of the drawer where the cash was kept.
“They also assaulted me. I was terrified on seeing the gun and knife. I was alone on night duty. One of them snatched the keys from me and took out all the cash. There were nearly Rs 25,000 kept in it,” said the salesman, who originally belongs to Uttar Pradesh. The men fled in a Wagon R after taking the cash, he added.
The victim then filed a complaint at Bilaspur police station, based on which the two men have been booked under IPC Section 392 (robbery) and sections of the Arms Act.
“We are scanning the footage from the cameras installed at the l station and nearby areas in order to track down the accused. The probe is on,” said a police officer.
