Gurugram: Cook from Nepal thrashed by employer for missing train

GURUGRAM: A cook was allegedly beaten up by his employer for missing the train home. The cook identified as Ravinder Rawat, a native of Nepal, had taken leave for a few days to visit his country but he, somehow, missed his train and went back to his employer.
According to the victim, on May 10, his employer, identified as Juyoung, a Korean by origin and a resident of Sushant Lok, asked him the reason behind not visiting his home. When Rawat said he had missed his train and was planning to leave the next day, Juyoung got enraged and hit him with a pressure cooker lid.
The victim told the cops that his employer also ran after him with a golf stick shouting “I will kill you”.
“I somehow escaped. I had worked with this employer for past one year,” Rawat told the police.
An FIR has been registered at Sushant Lok police station under IPC sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
