The majority of cancer pain is produced by a tumour pressing against the body’s bones, nerves, or other organs. Other instances, cancer discomfort is brought on by the advanced treatment one is receiving for the condition. Somatic pain is the most prevalent type of pain reported by cancer patients, and it is characterised by a throbbing, excruciating pain that is localised and consistent. Cancer pain can be “dull, achy, acute, or searing,” as well as “continuous, intermittent, mild, moderate, or severe.” Over-the-counter pain remedies, opium-derived drugs, and other prescription pharmaceuticals may be prescribed by doctors.
