Gurugram sees 165 new Covid cases, positivity 4.6% now

Gurgaon: The city on Tuesday recorded 165 new Covid cases, a rise from 113 cases on the previous day. The daily positivity rate has also increased to 4.6% from 3.6% on Monday. While Gurgaon added 6,565 fresh Covid cases so far this month, it currently has 639 active cases. On Tuesday, 3,529 Covid tests were carried out. Dr Virender Yadav, chief medical officer, Gurgaon said, “People need to take a booster if they are eligible as the number of hospitalisations has been reduced due to vaccination.” TNN
