Dy speaker inaugurates DHBVN office, farmers ‘purify’ it with Ganga jal

HISAR: After Haryana deputy CM Ranbir Gangwa inaugurated the sub-divisional office of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) at Gangwa village on Monday, farmers reached the spot and “purified” the office with Gangajal. Farmers also claimed that in view of the protest, the deputy speaker came to inaugurate the office ahead of time. Press secretary, All India Kisan Sabha, Sube Singh Boora confirmed the details.
After the inauguration, the deputy speaker said various services would be provided to over 23,000 customers from about 27 villages. An urban feeder of 11 KW (kilowatt), 11 independent feeders, 10 RDS (Rural Domestic) feeders and 6 AP feeders will be operated under the office, he said.
People of villages like Chirod, Singhran, Mangli, Harikot, Saharwa, Muklan, Daya, Dubeta, Bharri, Badya Brahman, Badya Rangran, Burre, Harita, Talwandi Badshahpur, Talwandi Rukka, Payal, Rawat Khera, Charnound, Bherian, Choudharywas, Devan, Gawar, Kalwas, Panihar, Gandhi Nagar, Kaimary and Gangwa etc. will be benefited, Gangwa said. He added that under the Mera Gaon-Jagmag Gaon scheme, work is being done expeditiously in many villages of Nalwa assembly constituency, which will get 24-hour electricity supply.
