Gurugram: Second FIR against Kablana for carving out illegal colony

GURUGRAM: Six people, including Gaje Singh Kablana – former councillor and husband of senior deputy mayor Pramila Kablana— have been booked for carving out an illegal colony in Sarai Allawadi village in the city.
The FIR was registered on the complaint of the department of town and country planning (DTCP) for developing an illegal colony without any approval and permission from the government department. DTCP had earlier carried out a demolition drive at the illegal colony. This is the second FIR against Kablana in this year for developing an illegal colony.
District town planner (enforcement) RS Batth said the department has sent multiple notices but they continued with the illegal development of the colony in violation of the existing law and norms. “After following due process of law, we recommended for registration of FIR against the land owners and developers for violation of the law,” said Batth adding that they have been carrying out demolition drives against the illegal colonies and FIRs are being registered against those behind the development of illegal colonies.
The department had submitted a 59-page complaint along with details of jamabandi, registry documents, copy of mutation and copies of notices issued by the department. The complaint also had enclosed a site plan and other details of the illegal colony. On the basis of complaint a case was registered under section 10 of Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act 1975 at Bajghera police station against Nikunj Kumar from New Delhi, Pramood Kumar Saluja from sector 14 Gurgaon, Surender Mandal from Ashok Vihar Phase-3, Anant Pal from New Palam Vihar, Gaje Singh Kablana and Naresh Narwal from Gurgaon. Gaje Singh Kablana when contacted rejected the entire allegation and said he is taking legal opinion on the matter.
