Taapsee reacts to Bilaspur High Court verdict

The Bilaspur High Court on Thursday acquitted a man accused of marital rape stating that sexual intercourse or any sexual act by a husband with his legally wedded wife was not rape, even if it was forceful or against her wish.
Now, Taapsee Pannu who is quite vocal about her opinions has reacted to the same. She tweeted, “Bas ab yehi sunna baaki tha.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Taapsee will next feature in the film titled ‘Looop Lapeta’ co-starring Tahir Raj Bhasin. She also has sports dramas like, ‘Rashmi Rocket’, ‘Shabhash Mithu’ in her pipeline.
She will be reuniting with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in ‘Dobaaraa’ where she will share screen space with her ‘Thappad’ co-star Pavail Gulati. She also has ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?’ with Pratik Gandhi of ‘Scam 1992’ fame.

Currently, the actress is filming for her maiden production titled, ‘Blurr’. The film will be directed by Ajay Bahl and will also star Gulshan Devaiah in the lead role.
