Haryana: Ambala reports 43 new cases of Covid-19, 111 discharged

AMBALA: Haryana’s Ambala district reported 43 positive cases of Covid-19 and 111 patients were discharged on Thursday, said district civil surgeon Dr Kuldeep Singh.
Among the 43 positive cases, Chourmastpur reported nine, Ambala City and Mullana eight each, Ambala Cantonment six, Barara five, Shahzadpur four, and Naraingarh three.
There are 451 active patients of Covid-19 in Ambala.
Dr Singh said the health department vaccinated 4,026 people against Covid-19 during the day.
Dr Singh said the recovery rate of Ambala district is 97.56 per cent and the mortality rate is 1.33 per cent. The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Ambala up to Thursday reached 40,472 of which, 39,485 were discharged and 536 people have died.
