Heatwave will be back in Gurugram, temperature may touch 45 degree Celsius

GURUGRAM: The city is likely to witness heatwaves again from Thursday after a brief respite.
The heatwave is expected to last till Sunday. Gurugram’s maximum temperature was 44 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, five notches above normal. The minimum temperature was 24 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal.
Dust-raising winds are also likely. “Heatwave is expected in Gurgaon from Thursday till Sunday. The maximum temperature forecast is 43 to 45 degrees Celsius till the weekend. It will remain dry with hot dust-raising winds during the afternoon hours daily,” said independent meteorologist Navdeep Dahiya.
Meanwhile, isolated parts of Delhi saw heatwaves on Wednesday, with some areas suffering at over 44 degrees Celsius.
