Rohit: want to make Indian Police Force international

Rohit Shetty and Sidharth Malhotra announced that their upcoming web series ‘Indian Police Force’, will release on Amazon Prime Video. At the event, Rohit and Sidharth drove on to the stage in a cop car, with Rohit at the wheel and his high-speed manoeuvre on stage took the audience by storm.
Karan Johar, who was hosting the segment on stage, asked Rohit about his idea behind making ‘Indian Police Force’. Rohit said, “We have always seen these big shows from Hollywood and the West. But I wanted to make an Indian show to rival those shows. I have always wanted to make a big international show born from India, one that can make a mark on the global stage.”

Karan asked Sidharth about his experience of working with Rohit Shetty and the young actor’s desire to feature in a slow-motion sequence. Sidharth said, “I had always wished to work with Rohit sir. As far as the slow-motion shot from the Indian Police Force teaser goes, I was just walking. The cinematic experience and the larger-than-life feel is all from Rohit sir’s vision and execution. His team’s efforts make it easy for us actors.”

Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty are also slated to be a part of the series.
